Very interesting course! Good quality vids and I find your manner of instruction easily understandable. I may give your course a try when I finish the one I’m currently working on.

I’ve been playing guitar for many years and see that I can still learn from someone who explains things in an easy to understand way. Your videos are of good quality and you have an excellent presentation. Now if you come out with an “advanced blues” course or cd, I’ll be first in line to get a copy.

  7. Larry davis says:

I think you videos should be accompanied by a chord diagram and/or a tab diagram. It is quite difficult to see exactly what you are playing and what you should not.
    cheers

I thoroughly enjoy trying the free course video’s and I use these video’s for medicinal purpose’s to help me, as I am 63 and suffer from severe arthritus and I find these help the fingers from stiffening, aqnd they are well explained unlike some of the other courses available.

  16. Larry says:

I really enjoy your video lessons, and the barre chords that you described I didnt know existed. Well done!!!!

  17. Dimitri Brandi says:

Nice video, but i thought they show things all guitarists with some years of studying should know.

  18. William says:

Kenny, Got a question. I have really enjoyed your guitarin60seconds videos. I have learned more in a few days than I have over the past few years trying to figure out things from books. Everything I have learned has been self taught, but I have a problem, my fingers are a little short for some of the scales you teach, especially my little finger. Is there are way to modify my playing for somehome with short fingers?

  19. Phillip says:

Very interesting conceptually. Need to reinforce the need for “consistent” practice as well as theoretical knowledge.

  20. one ting I enjoy is you use a clean sound instead of distortion. it makes it so much easier to distinguish the chords and notes . everthing seems so staight forward . you also start at the basics which really helps . I started learning to play about 35 years ago and after kids and life in general I can devote the time needed and your method is easy to understand and work with thank you

  21. I really like the way you explain guitar concepts.
I woud like to buy your course.
    How do i do that?

  22. Tim says:

Hi Kenny, I will be 56 on Friday and I have been trying to learn guitar for almost a year now and nothing started to click untill I started reading your downloadable book and watching your videos. You do a really great job teaching students. Your video and book are clear and easy to understand from one lesson to the next. I have looked a lots of them and you are best. There is so much to be said for the way you teach.
    Thank You Very Much

I have been doing a lot of looking around at guitar courses. I bought Modal Theory from Will Landrum, which is impressive. I have been looking to help my understanding of scales and tying them together for soloing. I have played guitar for over 25 years, I can hold my own, but I still struggle with learning songs by ear and understanding scales. What I saw on your videos is notheing short of spectacular. Your approach, style and concept are incredibly good. I would absolutely LOVE to have your course!

  25. Ted Valenti says:

The lesson seems very understanable and the picture is clear enough to see what is being played. The lesson would be helped more if the lesson was gone over at a slower speed then picked up.

    Kenny,

I think your videos are fantastic. As a new guitarist, I follow every word you say and every movement of your hands as you work the fretboard. Personally, I don’t like paying hundreds of dollars for lessons…at one time, I mean. Can’t you break up your courses and sell them one at a time?

  31. Tony Le says:

just watched some of the introductory videos on the course. Sound great i’m a beginner desperately want to move forward. It hard to do it on by own. Love to see what you can help. Thinking about your course

  32. dico says:

    Hi, Kenny,
You are the greatest guitar instructor particularly in the scale shapes variation which solved many years’ troubles I have had after seeing several of your mini video courses.

  33. John Nye says:

This is a very good and straight forward way of presenting the material. I especially enjoyed and learned from the video concerning hearing chord changes. Thank you!

  34. John Nye says:

Very good clean distortion free playing gives a target for what we should sound like before effects. Easy presentation and clear explanations. I especially enjoyed and learned from the video for recognizing chord progressions.
    Thank you.

  35. Ron says:

Videos look great – what is the percentage of distortion to clean guitar in your video lessons.

I much prefer to hear clean notes and chord voicings in your lessons

  36. James says:

  38. Don says:

I purchased a previous Guitar in 60 Seconds course and found it to be one of the best courses I have purchased. Kenny is a natural instructor and his easy to follow instructions make you want to learn more. Every video makes you want to learn to pick up the guitar and play. Good luck Kenny with your latest course and thanks for all the help you have given me I am a better guitar player thanks to you.

  39. Cresswell says:

This is one the most easily explained method of playing the bar chords as its the most important part of guitar playing for any wana be guitarist. This shows your knowledge at what you do best!the remaining part of your course would just be an icing on the cake.I really looking forward of getting your course but right now can’t afford it as I just lost my job due to the recession..but would definitely pick up your course its amazing.Keep up the good work

    Regards,
    Creswell

  40. Kendall says:

great explanation. i like how there wasn’t much fluff because many other online teachers just talk on and on about random stuff but not about the title of the video

good explanation. i learned a lot tnx.

  42. Deb says:

Kenny , Just wanted to say thanks for all the great information / lessons ect . Your teachings have brought me closer to my goal , that is learning all the notes on the fretboard . I have been playing for yrs by ear but never took much time to learn the mechanics behind mastering guitar . But with your free lessons i have a renewed desire to learn all I can . I only wish at this time I could take advantage of purchasing your course , but with economics being what they are I am unable to take advantage at this time. Anyhoo again a Great Big Thank You :) .. Take Care and God Bless
